COVID-19 Update
The situation around the Coronavirus pandemic is changing rapidly, and as of this we are continuing to look after families in the North West of England to arrange funerals as we would do.
As the Government advice on Coronavirus (COVID-19) changes we will keep you updated regularly, some guidelines to follow which maybe of help are as follows;
Our top priority at the moment are our families and making sure there loved ones funeral goes ahead with dignity.
We will need your help to follow these guidelines by
– Not to come into the Funeral Home unless you need to
– Returned home from a foreign country in the last 14 days
– Been in contact with anyone with a suspected case of Coronavirus or confirmed case
– Been showing any signs of the symptoms in the last 14 days
– Persistent cough
– High Temperature
– Shortness of Breath
By phoning our head office on 0161 282 8793 they will advise you on how we can support you and then contact our local branch nearest to you.
If someone has died with Coronavirus
We’ll continue to look after your loved one in our care in as respectful and dignified manner, following the government guidelines. We have all the equipment and facilities to ensure that the dignity of the deceased is respected to a high standard.
Help in Arranging a Funeral
We would appreciate if you could call one of our branches first before making arrangements our friendly staff will ask you a few questions to ensure that everything is suitably prepared for you and the correct advice is given to you and what to do next.
Some Changes Already Put in Place
Following the government guidelines Church of England and the Catholic Diocese have stopped taking services and have closed until further notice, local crematoriums are also restricting the number of mourners attending the funeral.
